Request to expand Sambalpur Zoo
Terminal Market Complex to be established in Niladunguri

Geographically and economically, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Subarnapur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Angul, Boudh, Sundargarh and Nuapada districts are suitable to be a central market hub. These districts together produce more than 35 lakh metric tonnes of fruits and vegetables annually. Due to lack of a well-organized market, people are not able to utilize their entire land for vegetable cultivation. Therefore, the establishment of Terminal Market Complex at Niladunguri will not only facilitate this supply chain, but also provide a suitable platform for trade and distribution, said Shri Pradhan.
